“Dollhouse” is the primary episode of American Horror Tales Season 2, and it follows a villainous character named Spalding who targets younger ladies to be a part of his aforementioned Dollhouse.
Written by Manny Coto and directed by Loni Peristere, the episode sees American Horror Story alum Denis O’Hare tackle the lead function of Spalding.
Spalding is believed to be a doll collector, and within the teaser trailer for the season, a clip from the episode sees him inform one girl he is kidnapped: “That is my non-public dollhouse. There’s just one method out of right here younger girl, and it is not by way of any home windows or doorways.”
O’Hare might be joined by a lot of solid members, and Kristine Froseth is the girl who seems within the trailer and struggles to flee from Spalding.
Different solid members embrace Abby Corrigan, Kenia Arias, and Simone Recasner, all of whom are new to the American Horror Tales franchise and whose roles have but to be revealed.
Additionally starring within the episode is Matt Lasky, Maryssa Menendez, Emily Morales-Cabrera, and Houston Towe.
From the seems of the trailer, Towe seems to painting a youthful model of O’Hare’s Spalding as he’s seen clutching a doll in a tense scene that reveals Froseth’s character tied to a gurney.
In Season 1 of American Horror Tales the spin-off added to AHS lore in its first two episodes titled “Rubber(wo)ManPart 1 and a pair of,” set within the haunted mansion that’s the setting for the unique present’s first season “Homicide Home.”
The situation was revisited later within the spin-off’s season as properly with the episode “Sport Over,” which marked the return of Dylan McDermott’s Dr. Ben Harmon who continues to hang-out the home he died in.
Whereas this meant the spin-off was firmly positioned inside AHS lore, it isn’t clear if the brand new season of the present will add to any of the horror franchise’s earlier seasons. Followers should wait and see if it is going to or not.
“Dollhouse,” for its half, doesn’t seem to have any connection to the unique collection even whether it is set in a creepy dwelling and O’Hare has appeared in six seasons of the flagship present over time.
American Horror Tales Season 2 premieres on Thursday, July 21 on FX on Hulu.
