Spain started their reign as Ladies’s World Cup champions by arriving residence to a hero’s welcome on the streets of Madrid.

Followers packed the streets of the Spanish capital on Monday evening because the victorious La Roja paraded by means of with the trophy on an open-top bus.

The gamers later obtained off the bus and took to a stage, the place match winner and captain – who scored the one aim in a slender 1-0 win over England in Australia on Sunday – was tossed up within the air by teammates.
