The Director of the Australian Antarctic Division, Mr Kim Ellis, has introduced his retirement following a 45-year profession.

Mr Ellis’ affiliation with Antarctica and the Southern Ocean started in his early profession when he was with the Australian Military specialising in amphibious operations. Since becoming a member of the AAD in 2019 he has been a robust advocate of the Division’s vital work.
