An cute koala joey was showered with love as she celebrated her first birthday at an Australian zoo. This footage, filmed by the Australian Reptile Park, reveals Pixie the koala receiving all of the cuddles and pats she may need from zookeepers and guests, as she munched on some eucalyptus leaves. In keeping with the zoo, Pixie’s mom fell in poor health in June 2021 prompting Australian Reptile Park Director, Tim Faulkner, to step into the position of surrogate guardian to supply the younger joey with round the clock care. “It melts my coronary heart to see Pixie thriving, contemplating the primary time we met she was vulnerable to not making it,” Faulkner stated, “I have a look at her completely satisfied and wholesome on her first birthday surrounded by everybody, having fun with all the eye and I get a bit emotional that she’s rising up!”.
