NEW YORK — The new play “Birthday Candles,” starring Debra Messing, opened on Broadway on Sunday.
Throughout the 90-minute play, Messing’s character ages from 17 years outdated to 107. It is a recipe for all times’s classes, friendships and love.
The manufacturing was delayed two years due to the pandemic.
Stars hit the pink carpet Sunday outdoors the American Airways Theatre for opening evening.
