The northern Hungarian village of Holloko celebrates Easter Monday in its personal specific – and peculiar – approach.

Guests flocked to the little village of Holloko in northeastern Hungary to see males pouring buckets of water on native girls, an uncommon Easter Monday customized.

The Hungarian Easter custom of sprinkling girls with water goes again centuries and has been enriched by numerous customs.

After the water got here the celebration. Members of the Nógrád Folks Dance Ensemble invited the onlookers to bop within the open road.

Musicians and folks dancers from everywhere in the nation got here to the village of their pleated skirts and shawls.
