“I’ve heard the proof that this fee has obtained as a minister and as a mom, I discover that it’s really heartbreaking,” Ms Blandthorn stated on Friday.
“I take this chance as minister to apologise formally and unreservedly for the hurt attributable to the historic elimination of First Individuals’s youngsters from their households, their communities and their Nation.”

It follows latest apologies from Premier Daniel Andrews and Victoria Police Chief Commissioner Shane Patton for the systemic injustice and mistreatment of First Nations individuals.
