They will be talking at a United Nations digital discussion board Saturday and connecting with younger ladies from across the globe.
Younger ladies from the Bronx Academy of Letters will take part in a discussion board throughout the annual assembly of the Fee on the Standing of Girls, taking up points like local weather change and financial empowerment.
It is all a part of World G.L.O.W., a mentoring group that helps ladies develop abilities to succeed and assets to vary their communities.
“It is about how we help one another as ladies and the way we may, like, make the world equal to us,” junior Miriam Gutierrez mentioned.
“We’re ready to reply questions on local weather change and the ladies of coloration in our neighborhood and, like, what a greater world for women seems to be prefer to us,” sophomore Zainab Kuta mentioned.
